Thanks you'all for the chat on Sunday. It helped me get my multimedia project done, which I appreciate immensely. I hope you all enjoy it. My teammates here have had a positive feedback, and our tech specialist is showing it at her meeting which makes me feel that the gigantic headache of working out all the challenges involved were well worth it.
This is the first class I have had were I felt we truly utilized a synchronous environment at Walden. Most of the courses I have had used a more asynchronous environment. So far, I have enjoyed the synchronous atmosphere using Skype. I feel like for the first time, I really know my classmates. At first, I thought I would hate it because I liked the freedom associated with the use of the chatrooms because it gave me time to think, and look at what other people were saying and doing for the posts before I submitted mine.

I share in you feelings about working now in a synchronous environment as opposed to an asynchronous environment. It really has been nice getting to know everyone a little bit better through skype and it has been such a great help to have others to talk to about projects and ideas.
I really agree about Skype. You're very correct. This is the first class that I feel like I know all my classmates really well. I really hope, more classes pick up the idea for Skype and add it to their syllabus. How much it would have helped other classes that we were having problems in, if we had someone to share ideas with. It's one of those things that I reallIy believe should be a part of all online classrooms. I plan on keeping everyone in my Skype buddies. So even when the class is over, feel free to Skype me if you want to chat.
Rachel, I feel the same way about Skype. I thought I wouldn't like using it and having to all be online at the same time. However, I love it and hope more classes use this.

Like the rest I enjoy being able to chat with everyone on Skype. Do you realize this class is almost over? It has gone by so fast. There is so much to learn and to keep up with, but we love it, don't we!?
