Saviors

Thank you'all so much for our chat the another night, and to Susan for the example of KAM 2. I am back to writing again on it, and I have a better clearer vision of what the finished product needs to be.

Hi Rachel-
I am also finishing up KAM 2. Seems like it is harder to do when you stop writing for awhile and then get back to it. It goes alot faster if you can keep writing without stopping for a period of time. Good luck on finishing it.

I plan to finish it this summer. I have a nice schedule this summer, a day or two of training most weeks which will keep me from procrastinating. :)

good luck with the KAM -- what is your application? (that being the fun part to me)

My application is an analysis of the single gender programs at my own school. My topic relates to human development as it ties to male single gender education. I chose it because we implemented it at my school three years ago, and I teach in it, so it is something that I wanted to explore more anyway.

Your application sounds very interesting. Will you be comparing data or observations....both? There is another school in my area that is trying the same thing: Federal Way High School. It surprises me a little that segregation on gender isn't illegal.

I think mostly data, since we have three years worth of data on a fairly stable population.
